Dr Glenn Dale
Managing Director, Tree Crop Technologies
Glenn holds a BSc (Forestry) Hons, a BSc (Biochemistry) a PhD (Molecular & Quantitative Genetics) and an MBA. He has 25 years experience in forest management and research, and 10 years experience in business management. Glenn’s expertise includes genetics, tree breeding, water chemistry and salinity management and carbon sequestration.
Mr Eng Lee
Chairman, Tree Crop Technologies
Lee holds a BSc in Computer Science. He has 25 years experience in creating and growing technology companies and has held CEO and operational roles in several industries. Lee’s expertise includes business management, the commercialisation of research initiatives, legal matters and corporate governance.
Mr Peter Chadband
Managing Director, The Pump House
With over 25 years experience in the water industry, Peter is widely recognized as a leader in the design and delivery of efficient and effective water management systems. He is a certified irrigation designer and holds numerous accreditations from the industry’s leaking suppliers. Under Peter’s stewardship, The Pump House has grown since its inception in 1983 to a multi-disciplinaryorganisation with outstanding technical and logistic capabilities.
Mr Ian Robb
General Manager, Tree Crop Technologies
A BSc (Forestry), Ian has 25 years experience in commercial forest management including 12 years in development and delivery of 10,000 ha under the Queensland Hardwood Plantation Program. Ian’s expertise includes plantation and business management, policy development, government legislation, contract negotiation and operations delivery.
Mr Steve Brown
Project Manager – CSG, The Pump House
With agricultural science and agribusiness qualifications, Steve’s 35 years in the agricultural sector cover technical and practical perspectives. This includes broadacre and horticultural agronomy plus 13 years in the irrigation industry managing a range of projects including industrial, commercial and agricultural systems.
He is credited with discovery on a number of patents covering waste recycling and CSG water treatment.
Mr Neil Halpin
Operations Manager, Tree Crop Technologies
Neil holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Rural Science. He has 40 years experience in all aspects of forest management, plantation operations delivery, rural extension and forest research, including 12 years in development and delivery of 10,000 ha under the Queensland Hardwood Plantation Program. Neil’s expertise includes operations management, forest silviculture, research, community engagement, soils and land brokery price negotiation.
Mr Dan Rattray
Manager Soils and Environment, Tree Crop Technologies
Dan holds a Bachelor of Civil Technology Degree, a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering and a Masters of Environmental Engineering. Dan is an experienced environmental engineer and has an extensive background in soil science, hydrology and water quality, and has specialist skills in the area of soil water hydrology.
